A lot of people think that to feel more joy, you need to focus on just feeling joy…

 

…and while focusing on joy certainly CAN help you to feel more joy, that’s not the whole picture; there’s more to it.

In this week’s video, I talk about how each emotion (even the not so fun ones) is actually really important to your experience as a human and how creating space for these feelings can help them to move along more quickly.

Some points I discuss in the video include:
– Emotions are simply part of your body’s response to what’s going on
– Every emotion has important information to share + have real-life, practical applications that are really useful
– Everyone is capable of experiencing emotion, it’s just a matter of how much we allow ourselves to feel
